Thanks for all the replies folks. Well guess what i went to start my pocketmusic player this morning, and my Axim locked up. Had to do a soft reset. When it came back up, i got the infamous SD card warning: "Would you like the system to format the SD card folder so the system can use it?" Great so from the info i have gathered from the links provided, the card is basically junk or will continue to be troublesome.
It has the numbers AR0304LR China on the back of it, which looks similar to the Sandisk number shown on that happycheesecakes site.
I had multiple folders on the card with map files for mapopolis and then another folder for my radio shows with subfolders in it.
Is there a way to salvage the data thats on the card? And is there a possibility that this is a sandisk card and therefor make it eligible for the replacement deal?
Ok so i read through some more of cheesecakes site, and there was mention of a patch Dell was comin gout with, but no link or other info. Is there some sort of patch fo this? Has anyone succesfully reformatted and continued to use their Lexar card after getting these errors, and will Lexar make good on this and send me one of the Japanese cards for free?
