I got On Basilisk Station off of the free library, read a couple of pages, and went out and bought the whole series. 1632 and 1633 are both very very good too, and they're also free. I've just started A Hymn Before Battle and I'm loving it. Too bad some of the other publishers haven't figured this out yet. There are so many authors out there that I'm hesitant to try for a price that I wouldn't mind sampling for free.

I'm agreeing with you on this one. I've dled 1632 and 1633 and love them both. Gottem for free - can't beat that.
