For wide screen, the best way is to combine three techniques.

First cut 10% of the width on both left and right. Usually you won't notice this kind of change.

Second, compress the aspect ratio a little bit. Again, you won't see the difference.

Third is optional. You can set the resolution width > 320, and thus PocketMVP can switch between two mode. One is wider,smaller. The other is narrower and larger.

It uses method 1 & 2, if encoded with larger resolution, you can taking the advantage of method 3 as well.

Combining method 1,2,3 will give you a very pleasant movie watching exprience on PPC. There is a software to do this in one step. You can try it and understand how it works.
