THANK YOU Raynne413! I was starting to get frustrated when my Axim would just power up on its own then shut down 1 minute later. It would do this when it was in the cradle and stand alone. I had never even thought that it could be the battery monitoring in Sprite. Again, thank you!

So I have not had any issues with losing info, just that some programs, while left idle for more than 30 seconds, turns off my Axim.

OK, now I don't mean to make any insults to your intelligence or anything but have you checked ALL the power settings, i.e.;
Start --> Settings --> System --> Power --> Control - Battery and External settings
Start --> Settings --> System --> Brightness --> Battery Power
Start --> Settings --> System --> Brightness --> External
Also, have you tried checking to see if there are other programs running in the background that could be causing this problem?
Start --> Settings --> System --> Memory --> Running Programs
Just my ideas seeing that you say it's when the unit is idle.
