But thats it, one I get past the holes, I don't have the right key for the door in there. When I drop through a hole, I don't have a key for that door either. Can anyone help!???!?? The holes were the worst part for me, too! If you got the secret switch in the checkerboard area, that's a start. I guess it's supposed to keep one of the holes from opening up - though I was too panicked to realize it at the time I played that area. I just kept going to the fountain on the left. I would get my mage set up with a spell so she was ready to go into battle right away. I re-entered the hallway following the timing of the holes and could usually get one spell cast before I fell into the basement. I basically just repeated this until I got rid of the creep at the end of the hall. After that you can walk down the hall. You just have to remember to time your steps with the holes or you will fall again.
