Nice analysis AximPhreak. The only point I disagree about is people buying these for their kids/wife/grandmother etc. I don't think many people would consider these as gifts for others. I think people with the money would get a laptop or plasma TV, or fur link bathroom sink.
I will be keeping my Axim X5 Adv for the forseeable future, and don't see any reason to upgrade it.
It fulfills my needs. I'll probably upgrade my home 400Mhz Pentium II PC before I change my Axim - unless I get my wife the Mac she thinks she wants.
