A slight word of warning about SMC. (And this is just my personal experience and thus one opinion.)
I own an older SMC router. (SMC7004WBR, I believe.) Right now, it works fine. But in the beginning there were problems that required a few firmware upgrades. The problem was it seemed to take them forever to acknowledge problems that people were reporting. Then, once the new versions of the hardware came out, firmware for known problems on the older devices slowed that much more.
I don't expect a company to have to support a product for decades, but when the device is only a year or two old and you've got known issues, good companies will typically respond or at least acknowledge your e-mail.
Now, as I said, my wireless router is working fine these days and in the past year, SMC may have improved on their customer services. So I'm not saying that anyone should avoid buying their products. Just relating a little history.
DSLReports has a good SMC forum for people who own or thinking of owning one of their products.
