Just point it at your mobile phone, activate a dial up connection via the infra red port on the top of the axim, to the mobile phone. Voila. (Well, it worked fine with my nokia 8610 ;-)

You *did* know the Axim had IR, right ? I think it'll go up to 115200kbps, most phones go out to 57600kbps connections unless you have gprs connection so it should work at least as well as a standard dial up.
