However, the question is not how
FAR the cable run can be, but how many splits
off that run can be made before signal degredation starts.
Each splice/split in that run causes signal loss/degredation and introduces interference.
FYI: If you end up with a spare, unused, tap on a "Y" type splitter, be sure to cover it with a
Terminating Resistor.
