You enter the 'connections bit of the Axim settings, and you specify a number to dial. The Axim connects via IR to the phone (assuming you've turned on the phone's IR receive feature !).

Then it passes the phone the number to dial. When the phone connects to the number via it's modem, the phone notifies the axim that a connection is available and the Axim then uses it as a standard dial-up connection.

Or did you mean *can you dial voice numbers* from the Axim ? Not a clue about that though I might have an answer soon from a program I got as a Beta-tester.
