I agree with accepting responsibility but I also agree with not posting anything on these boards with regards to overclocking and using your PPC outside of dell's scope. I'm part of a Mitsubishi club and a guy's tranny went out. When he went to get it serviced through warrany, I guess they saw the sticker on his car advertising the site. He said they called him back a couple days later informing that his warranty was voided. He asked why and they told him they had seen some posts on an online forum referring to him drag racing his car. I work at an insurance company and we have people that investigate when claims are filed to see if there was misuse, etc.

Remember, Dell doesnt care about your charity and being honest. They'll stick it to you when they can. They did with my laptop screen....they replaced a perfect screen with one with 4 dead pixels. The video card is what went bad, but they said they replaced both to make sure it was fixed. I get it back and the first thing I notice is 4 dead pixels. I called them and they wouldnt take it back to fit another screen. I went all the way up to the manager and nothing was done. What I should have done was sent it back via the 30 day guarantee. Instead, they kept it for 2 weeks and sent it back a few days after my 30 day satisfaction guarantee was all used up. At that point they wouldnt let me send it back since it was past 30 days from the ship date.

A corporation is an inefficiant machine that tries to cater to PEOPLE but not the PERSON.

Just my take on it.
