To change your Today screen, go to Settings, Today (under Personal Tab), then select a new theme (under Appearance Tab).

Unfortunately, I believe there are only two themes that come preloaded on the x3i, but if you go to the Themes forum, you can get a bunch more that people have posted. Just copy them to your Pocket_PC My Documents folder on your PC desktop, then sync. They will then show up as a theme choice under the Appearance Tab as listed above. BTW, the themes are .tsk files.
