Power Management (% Warnings, and in particular Wi-Fi)
Hey,
I've just bought a new axim x3i yesterday and cant get over how cool it is :) Just two things that have been annoying me tho...
1) You start getting warnings when the battery level drops to somwhere around 25% - its got like a quarter left! Surely thats not critically low :P
2) The Wi-Fi module wont start if the battery is *low* (i.e. under 30%). However, if you've already got it on and it goes below 30%, it gives you a warning, but will happily let you continue using wireless.
So.. questions :) Can you change the warning levels and the battery, and more importantly, can you get rid of the "please i've only got a little (25%) battery left and I dont want to turn on the wireless even tho I can" option off? :)
Last night I left the axim on with Wi-Fi enabled and was able to use it till it eventually shutdown cause it literally had NO power left (which is pretty much what I want to be able to do).
Although I can see the point in the warnings, flashing lights, and saying its not wise to run wireless at low battery levels, there might well be an occasion that I really need to get Wi-Fi access, but wont be able to cause I've got 25% battery left :p
Any ideas are appreciated :) ('had a look through the forums, searched a couple things, but haven't come across anything. Perhaps registry settings or something? Not sure if Pocket PC 2003 has this.. kinda new to this all.)
