I don't have a firewall up. I tried what you recommended. It will say connected for a second or two and says it is disconnected. I have been referring to the user's guide. It says that I need to insert an ethernet card for this that is why I need to know if it is okay to purchase that wireless lan card that Dell has for sale on their site for $69.00. Is that the same thing as an ethernet card? Question #2 is this, do I need to purchase a router in addition to the card. I called Dell today and that is what someone in sales told me. However, I realize sales people work on commissions so I am not completely sold on the router. My user's guide says nothing about a router only to insert an ethernet care in the Axim. So what do you think?
