I've used SanDisk and Lexar with my MP3 players and Camera for many years. I stayed away from SanDisk with my Palm because people were saying they they where having issues with them (different than those we are having now). Before these problems with the Axim, I'd put SanDisk and Lexar on the same level, below Viking and Kingston.
