He's saying try not to load up the "Storage Memory" side too heavily with apps and stuff, as this will decrease the amount of memory available for operations. Throw what you can onto memory cards.

Program memory is how much memory is being used to run processes on the Ax, whereas Storage memory is memory for holding apps, etc.

The system doesn't seem to be very efficient at clearing Program
(read: operational) memory after you've closed down apps. I've taken to doing about 2 soft-resets a week to clear the clutter from Program memory, otherwise it just keeps going up & up & up...:rolling:
