Aaah I see... I guess it kinda makes sense then. Here (UK) they charge you an arm and a leg for internet access so they're more than happy for you to connect it to anything, especially something that can download nice big full graphics websites like a laptop or a PDA. Lots of transfer - lots of cash for them, at UK£3 per MB (on my plan).
