Re: possably off topic but .. MEMORY?

My card will be back on its way to Dell monday. I'm just gonna buy one from around here, so if I have problems I can return much faster and easier.

I guess if I use SD card - i loose the use of the memory I already own so hey - almost like grown up computers lol
And while we are on the subject Where are the best Deals?
(dont forget us UK folk when reccomending).

Thanks in advance for any help and suggestions ;
DavidDB I don't know everything about the two forms of media, but I'll tell you as much as I can. With secure digital you can protect your data from being overwritten by accident and it takes up less space than a CF card. Also if you use a SD card for storage it leaves your CF slot open for things like GPS, Wifi, Bluetooth, etc. CF cards are a bit cheaper than SD cards for now, and you can get one with at least 1GB of storage. The highest SD card I've seen is 512MB and those are pretty expensive, but prices are coming down for both types of media. And what did you mean by-- "I guess if I use SD card i loose the use of the memory I already own"-- As far as I know you can use both types in the axim at the same time. I haven't looked recently at where the best deals are, so I can't help you there.
