I'm glad to hear it wasn't just mine that did this stupid hard reset thing. This past weekend i was at a hotel so i used my x5 as an alarm clock and of course it went off at the right time and everything was great. Great that is until i tried to cut off the alarm! It wouldnt shut up and the power button kept blinking green. Well i did 2 soft resets real quick and still nothing, so i decided i would take off the battery (done it many times before) and then stuck it right back on. Well when i cut it back on the alarm had stopped but it said "do you want to erase the memory" i hit the inbox button for cancel and what does it do!!!! It erased EVERYHING! A years worth of finances down the tube!!! I called support hoping that there may be some sort of memory retrieval and of course i was heart broken. All they could say was sorry!
Since this little insadent i have learned that backing up isnt so bad
