Netfront's O.K. . . . it has enhancements over PIE, but there are some of the same limitations, like the problem you are having with your bank sites. . .
Netfront's default UserAgent configuration is setup to broadcast as a PPC browser. Just with PIE, you need to hack the UserAgent to fool it into thinking it is MSIE 6.01.
With PIE, you need to hack the registry (RegKing, etc).
Netfront actually has a configuration window that let's you define multiple UserAgent configurations that can be selected as needed.
Here is my setup for MSIE 6.01 emulation:
The main problems I see with Netfront are:
(1) Doesn't handle Flash sites as good as WM2003 PIE
(2) I haven't figured out how to set the UserAgent so Netfront will play the MSN free videos. (Even with the MSIE 6.01 configuration, MSN reports an old browser).
Other than the items above, I'd say I use Netfront 60% of the time and PIE (hacked) 40% of the time.

Well, now I'm getting the "unable to get renderer" error. When I click on OK there I get bounced back to the sign-in page everytime. I'll try again later on the chance it's a timing thing. I sure would like to get this to work.
By the way, do you find it's a superior browser to PIE? It doesn't seem to want to open some sites that PIE will, like my banking page.
