You can use VNC
http://realvnc.com, but I wouldn't recommend it. The problem with Remote Assistance is that you need someone on the other to ACCEPT the session. Terminal Service would work if you can get through your firwall at work, if you have one. Have you tried the remote tool Yahoo! is hawking? I would pursue the TS option first.
