Removing the card and inserting after unlocking helped. I have also seen the white screen delay but it was immediately after I installed it on my Axim. Scared me as well. I did another soft reset and I had no problems with the white screen. Just to make sure, I have do several soft resets at different times of the day and the white screen delay never came back.
