Converting

I personaly do not have any more problems with books I have converted as opposed to the ones I have downloaded already converted. In fact most of them open faster. I have posted a method of converting that I use, on the E-books forum thread, and I find it easy if a little time consuming.
Size does matter. The larger the book the longer it takes on my AX. I have learned that the more files in a subfolder there are does slow the process somewhat. I have a 512 SD card and have my books stored under each author with seperate folders. When I have a more than 3 or 4 it takes longer so I clear them out and keep them stored on my computer or another SD card for easy transfer at a later date.
I have tried several different methods of converting and used most of the different tools available and still fall back to MS WORD and the MS Reader converter plug in as my tool of choice.

Theres no limit to what you can find on the internet in text format that can be converted. While I have not counted how many articles and books I have converted (For my personal use) but I would guess it is in the general area of 100 or so.

Happy Reading

:D
