Mobility Site - View Single Post - no sound for reminder but get sound for alarm??

If I set an alarm I get a sound and a message on the screen. however if I set an appointment in Outlook and reminder then the reminder does not sound OR flash.
This was working - some how it seems to have stopped. I did travel on a plane with it recently anyone know if thats a problem?
