I don't think I can thank you enough! I went to the hard reset menu, chose the cancel button and then a message saying the time had been reset or something popped up, I clicked ok and loaded back up again. :D

I haven't touched it much since, still feeling a bit uneasy about it. I think I'll look into that backup software you use and perhaps get that going on a far more regular basis than what I do now.

oh and not that it really matters, but just about that message at the start I mentioned in my first post. It came up, I could move it about, and where ever I left it, it would leave an imprint of its self, and would also do that after I clicked ok. So if I moved it around it would appear as though I had a heap of message boxes all over the screen. But yeah doesn't matter now.:)
