Once you have the image you want to use, save the image as a .bmp using the exact name of the program or link you want to use it for. Example: if you wanted a custom Icon for Pocket Word (\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\
Pocket Word.link) you would save the image as
Pocket Word.bmp
Then place it in the image folder within the theme you are using. (usually something like: "name of theme"\Desktop\Images) After that remember to select the "custom" box in the slot properties window, and you should be set.
