You have to use another program for that - I use either smartripper or dvd decrypter depending on what mood I'm in - both can handle anything you throw at them. having encoded the whole of my 24 and west wing DVD collections to xvid, they can certainly handle multiple episodes.
what you need to do is use dvd decrypter in "IFO" mode (Mode -> IFO).
(smartripper can do this too - can't remember the name of the option, think it's "film mode"). Select the PGC that you want (it's usually fairly obvious which ones the episodes are from the lengths of the PGC), then select a location for the file to be saved to, then click the big button to begin decryption.
If the DVD has multiple soundtracks, it helps if you click on to the "Stream Processing" tab and only select the one that you want (0x80 is the default soundtrack for almost all DVDs) - saves hard drive space if nothing else. You can also remove unwanted subtitle streams etc at this point.
Then once all that is done, you should have one .vob file to feed into pocket divx encoder :) Repeat for each episode (usually easier to rip them all then encode them all as a batch after which i believe you can do with pdxe)
