How do you find out what operating system you're running? I think it's Windows Mobile 2003 on the Axim X3? Is this correct?

Also, I remember being on this site and there was talk of Dell not providing an upgrade to the new Windows Mobile (I'm guessing 2004, unless X3 comes with 2002 and the upgrade was for 2003). What ever became of this? Did they end up giving in to the upgrade, or is there still no news?
