I had some troubles with it myself. It did reset my AXIM X5 after I had installed it and my disabled plug-ins where enabled.
Often it says I am not coonectted to the internet while I am, no new weather info is provided. Also the icons didn't show up.
The program looks like a great start, but it does need some work.
I already wrote the programmer about it.

Edit: meahwile I had contact with the programmer and he was aware of the reset after installing and told me he's working on this.
