Regardless of size, they have far different connections to begin with. After that there's probably different Video Chips and/or drivers and/or whatever-the-heck makes the screen display the GUI so you can use the danged thing.
Brighter, better screens go right along with new & improved models. Compare my HP548 against my X5 and the HP looks like colored chalk on a blackboard!.........and don't
even try taking it outside to see it better, 'cause the chalk just disappears........the nice, shiny blackboard's still there, though!
We won't even go back to the stoneage and my Mars/bCOM/Uniden UniPro 100A.......or my (god-forbid) DaVinci!!!!!
