I had the exact same problem with a 512Mb card. Sandisk customer support are obviously on a
PR mission, because they were incredibly receptive to the problems I had and arranged for a replacement within a few days.
Having said that, I would not recommed the 512Mb CF cards - the replacement has the same problem. I just haven't got around to contacting Sandisk. Maybe it's just the 512Mb cards?
