hmmm, the xvid taking longer to encode is a quirk of pocket divx encoder i think, generally it doesn't take that much longer.
but, realistically, if divx works for you then use it - if you can't see the difference then that's what matters at the end of the day :)
i know there are ways around the spyware, however i refuse to use software that has such things in it, regardless, especially when there are tangibly better open source alternatives as is the case with xvid.
