How much ROM shows up?

I'd like to know from as many people as possible how much ROM shows up on an X30 that's supposed to have 64MB. I'm talking about the so-called "Built-in Storage". Mine says:

Total storage card memory: 30.88 MB

In use: 1.23 MB Free: 29.65 MB

Is this what your X30 states (if it is the 64MB ROM model)?

Dell Tech Support tells me that this is correct for a 64 MB ROM unit and that the OS is taking up the other space. He told me he looked at both a 64MB and a 32MB while I was on the phone with him and that the 32MB only stated that it had a total of 20-something MB of "Built-in Storage".

I gave Dell such a hard time over this, but finally remembered that it would make much more sense to come here and do this. But why on earth doesn't the OS just state the total as 64MB and make the "In use figure" include the OS? I guess they just kept the OS out of the equation so that we'd only be looking at what they call the "Buil-in storage card".

Another thing: I can't see what is using that 1.23 MB, either.

I eagerly await the replies!
