Assuming you have downloaded the entire message, including the attachment, you should be able to simply tap on the attachment and it should open in Pocket Word, or Pocket Excel. If you tap and hold on the attachment you can save the attachment to any location on your Axim. I have never had a problem viewing Word and Excel files using this method.
