FairUse Wizard.
IMO, it's way worth the two euros to download it (and also entitles you to 30 days of further downloads...) Fire it up, throw in a DVD, set the parameters and leave it to run unattended... Come back to a finished, ready to transfer and play file. You can queue up several jobs at the same time, too. Cake.
As far as DVD ripping goes, I use a combination of SmartRipper, DVD2AVI and TMPGenc. is just too much work for me. {smile}
