Woohoo it works!!!
turns out the rom files i was using were bogus... oh well
Marvel vs Street fighter runs at full speed and sometimes to fast if turbo is on in the game and the emulator
Crash Bandicoot 3 seems to be running at 75% and is nearly unplayable (i have more time to think about my move :) )
