After working fine for about a year, my BUB began to fluctuate dramatically. I'd wake up in the morning, turn off my Axim's alarm and then be greeted by the "Back up your stuff before you're screwed" message. I called Dell's tech support who walked me thru a ROM update - NO GO! Next time, they recommended I wipe the BOB with my shirt (probably hoping a genie would appear from the BOB and after a few wishes, I'd go away). Again, NO GO! On my third call, they said that I had completed all of the troubleshooting steps they knew for that issue (that's scary) and they'd be sending me a replacement (that's Dell code for Refurbished) Axim right away. Well, my refurb arrived with PPC 2002 (I had hoped they'd feel sorry for me and at least send me one the '03 upgrade) and all would be well if I was able to restore more than 81% of my backup from the CF card of my original. At this point, I have the choice of having a whacky BUB or losing 19% of stuff in memory! This BLOWS!!!
