Similar problem
I've had this problem from the first time I got my Axim. I have never gotten the cradle to sync. It tries to connect, the PC active sync says "connecting", then is stops.
I have the travel cable and it works fine. Several calls to Dell help got me very irritated, wasted a lot of time, reset my unit such that it took my a week to get back to where I started, lots of uninstall and reinstalling active sync and finally a new cradle was sent... same problem. I'm using active sync 3.6 on a Dell PC. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
