Mobility Site - View Single Post - HELP!, with active sync, a newbie question

Hi I am trying to install active synch and i am having trouble when i am in the setup wizard or connections wizard ( i can't remember which) and attempting I keep getting prompted to enter a SMTP setting. I have no idea what that means. I connect to the internet via an AT&T cable modem, nothing fancy. I have an e-mail account with MSN I don't believe I have outlook as my default e-mail, I believe it is MSN. I also have an 802.11b set up for my laptop but I don't use it. I am trying to synch my Axim with my laptop. Also, will i be able to synch my Axim with my work coputer also?
