I do exactly what grentz says, even though i dont need to run S&D, i do just in case, even though it blocks all dl's anyway. I dont use any pay programs, so i dont use xoftspy, but i run ad-aware and update as much as possible

EDIT: ah yes and i almost forgot, in ad-aware, i run custom scans, and scan everything, even the stuff it normally leaves out, so my scans usually take a while. And i just got a new reference file today, so if you use it i would check for updates
