From your description of purpose, the Veo would likely be what you don't want, because at 640 resolution, it's fit only for web work.
At 640, when you print out pictures on your Epson they will be grainy and unless the camera has exceptionally good compaction software, the colors will be blotchy.
I haven't used the Veo... I just have a bit of experience with different digital cameras. You would be better off to go down to your local Walmart (or other such store) and buy a cheap $100 2.0 megapixel camera with built-in flash. Or, right now the Sony micro-camera (1.3 megapixel) is available for $150.
