I'm glad to see this post! I thought my card or Axim was defective or something. I actually inserted mine backwards the first time
Fortunately it did not appear to damage my Axim or the card. I too am finding with practice the card has become easier to insert :) It is obviously the design of the card as my memory card slips in and out easily. Especially when you insert it the right way
