yeah, even a 1.3 megapixel unit (if it's true 1.3 and not interpolated) is reasonably acceptable. You can get some decent (if slightly grainy) pictures from that. But it sure makes sense to me that someone would figure out that a 2 megapixel unit can be inexpensively made and produced. I mean, I can buy a full 2 megapixel digital camera with LCD display and flash for $99. Surely they can come up with a 2 mp CF card for that or less!
