Guys/Gals,

I am looking at using my Axim as a music player, for going to work on the bus and some light listening. I am looking for some guidance.

Currently, all my CD's are on my PC at home encoded in WMA format and I want to be able to transfer to my PDA 512MB SD card easily and fast.

My questions are:-

1) Is Windows Media Player the best option for the above?

2) Are there better alternatives for playing WMA format and for easy syncing of music between PC & PDA?

3) My main concern, is when travelling with my device, how do I shut the screen off to cutdown battery drain & I want to keep my device in my protective case, but not press any of the front buttons to disturb my playing, so no launching my contacts, or email or any of the front button functions?

4) Is WMA the optimum for size and quality?

Sorry for all the questions, complete newbie when it comes to music by PDA>
