I will respond here for the further benefit of all Axim users :p
If you look at the menu on the website, it has a section called Forums. If you hover your mouse on that it will do a drop down menu. Then hover over the software item. It will pop out another menu. Then it will pop out another menu and on it is Multimedia. Click Multimedia. This will open up the Software Multimedia Forum on Axim Site. The first 3 threads are "pinned" meaning they are always on the top. Two of the threads deal with getting video on your Axim. One explains using Virtual Dub and Divix 5 to shrink AVI and MPEG movie files down to size to be played on your Axim using PocketMVP. The other thread describes how to use FaskMpeg to make an AVI file from a DVD disk.
What I did was following the instructions and made an AVI file. This file was roughly 1 gig. I then used Virtual Dub to make 3 smaller AVI files. (13 meg, 29 meg, and 42 meg) cutting out credits and intros between the episodes. (And this allows me just to pick which episode I want on my Axim since I only have a 128 SD card) The way I created the 3 different avi files was to set an offset (two buttons on the virtual dub program a start and end off set).
So read those tutorials over at Multimedia and you should be able to make movies for your Axim too that are small and portable.
