Dell puts the Terms et al there because they don't want to get in trouble for what a moderator might post. I'm not arguing that you should read the Terms and Conditions, believe me they are very dry, but they absolve Dell from being held accountable for what is said in the forums. Deception would be if it was intentional and it would appear in the quote you provided that it wasn't. I expect he tried to find out information because of that long thread and asked the wrong person.

If you were saying this is a PR problem, I might agree with you, but you might have to ask yourself if Aximsite, Pocket PC Thoughts and Brighthand all keep mum about something as "important" as what Dell-Rollie says, you might want to take it with a grain of salt.
