I just received my USB travel sync cable Monday. (Ordered from Moonlight Technology.) Apparently, Dell does not sell the cable separately (at least they didn't at the time I placed my order). I am assuming the sync cable doesn't charge the unit (maybe I'm wrong) because the power button doesn't light up as it does in the cradle.

Never had a problem with this with my Casio E-125 - it was pure serial all the way, but I had to carry the cradle with me if I wanted to sync anything. Oh well, three steps forward, one step back.
