I don't mind if it's around 2 or 3 gigs, just the same format as DVDx 2.2 puts it in. I just can't seem to find the right settings in that program to get the quality I want.

Although it would not be in an mpeg format such as a VCD, DVDx2.2 can also do divx. Choose the drop down arrow that I show in the output settings and enter the bitrates.(see image) Just set a high bitrate say around 500-700kbps on video, this would give you high quality and if you decide to encode it later for PPC it should still keep a fairly decent quality.
