A quote
This is a quote from the Digital Millennium Copyright Act that I found interesting. From what I make out, paragraph B and C says it's not illegal. Note where it says "shall not apply to users of a copyrighted work" and "make noninfringing uses of that particular class of works". Paragraph C seems to repeat what B says, just with more words.
Again, let me say. I bought the movie, I'm watching the movie, not downloading the movie for free, not posting on a P2P site for others to download for free. I just chose to watch it on my computer. I agree that everyone involved in making the movie has the right to protect it and get paid for their efforts. I paid and now I wish to enjoy it.
So far I haven't found anything to counter that, but I'll keep looking. This is a lot to read. I see that this is intended to stop pirating music, movies, software etc. which I'm not doing.
