I understand it is illegal to do this with the movies I own.

1. Post the movie on P2P networks.
2. Make copies for friends.
3. Allow a child to take the movie to daycare so they, and friends could watch.(Which daycares have been sued, reason is, they didn't pay licensing fees to play the movies).

As cold-hearted as the last one sounds, I understand why. The daycare is benefiting without proper compesation to the companies involved in making the movie.

This isn't what I'm talking about though. I agree these should be illegal. I'm talking personal use.
